Itinerary



Let us show you a good time in the islands. There’s an array of exciting things to do within the islands,and a range of fabulous Caribbean beaches to enjoy, each with its own special character and vibe.

A BVI itinerary is extremely flexible and the cruising grounds present a myraid of opportunities. Together with your skippers advice, we will plan a holiday of a lifetime according to where your wishes and the weather takes you.

Lets see a sample itinerary:

DAY 1

Extasea will be awaiting your arrival on the dock at Village Cay, where a welcome drink will be waiting for you. Once you have settled in, we set sail for Norman/Treasure Island for our lunch stop at The Caves, a Marine National Park that provides stunning snorkeling. Enjoy an adventurous swim into the caves where pirates of old stashed their booty! As the sun starts to dip we can either head into The Bight for some lively nightlife at the famous floating bar ‘The Willy T’, or to the peace and tranquility of beautiful Benures Bay.

DAY 2

An early morning start takes you to the Indians for a delightful snorkel or scuba dive. Thereafter we can haul the spinnaker and sail to White Bay on Jost van Dyke – beach bar capital of the BVI’s, and enjoy “Painkillers” – at the world famous Soggy Dollar Bar. After lunch we take a dingy ride to Great Harbour home of the world famous Foxy’s, where you are often entertained by Foxy himself.

DAY 3

After a leisurely breakfast we sail up the protected north shore of Tortolla, to Cane Garden Bay a beautiful palm lined beach with a lively Caribbean feel. Swim, Kayak, or take a dinghy ride to the beach and soak up the Tortolan atmosphere. Enjoy a light
lunch and then set sail for Guana Island and the Marine National Park at Monkey Point. Snorkel with myriad shoals of fish and colourful corals. Overnight in the beautiful secluded Lee Bay – where you can watch the pelicans dive for their supper and enjoy
dinner under the stars.

DAY 4

Set Sail across the Sir Francis Drake Channel to the spectacular “Baths” situated on the southern tip of Virgin Gorda – the most visited site in the BVI’s – have fun exploring the grottos amongst these huge granite boulders, then snorkel the crystalline waters
with vibrantly coloured tropical fish. After a light lunch sail upwind to Virgin Gorda’s beautiful North Sound, the BVI’s favorite playground and home to Bitter End Yacht Club and Saba Rock. Step ashore and explore the beach, boutiques, bars and restaurants of these upscale resorts. In the evening enjoy “Happy AAAhr” rum punch’s on the beach with the famous “pirate” Mike Bean at Leverick Bay.

DAY 5

Wake to the aroma of freshly Baked muffins and brewed coffee. Enjoy a great sail to the BVI’s northern most island of Anegada, an expansive Coral atoll with endless white sand beaches and azure blue waters. After lunch take a short ride across the island to
Loblolly Bay and some of the best snorkelling in the islands, with huge coral stacks and deep chasms in the reef abundant with exotic sea life, and enjoy the spectacular site of the “Pink Flamingoes”. In the evening indulge yourself in the renowned “best grilled
lobsters in the Caribbean”.

DAY 6

Take the helm as you enjoy your longest sail to Cooper Island. Snorkel the protected grass beds, looking for the resident turtles and seahorses, and take a stroll on the palm fringed beach of Manchioneel Bay. Enjoy cooling Sunset Cocktails & and dinner under the stars.

DAY 7

Take a leisurely sail to Salt Island where you can dive or snorkel the Wreck of the Rhone , famous for its part in the movie, “The Deep”, and acclaimed as the best wreck dive in the Caribbean. Then sail on to Peter Islands, Great Harbor to enjoy a
relaxed lunch. This is a great place where the more adventurous amongst you can enjoy the thrill of a ride behind the dingy on the kneeboard, ski’s or wakeboard and the little ones can ride the tube. Enjoy a late afternoon hike to the view site above Peter Island Resort and take spectacular photo’s of all the Islands in the Sir Francis Drake Channel. After sunset, a fun thing to do is to let us guide you on a night snorkel! You will see interesting creatures such as Banded Shrimp, Lobster and Octopus.

DAY 8

Enjoy the sunrise and a leisurely breakfast, and take in an early, morning swim or snorkel before heading back to Tortola.
